Arrival and Departure info:

The Bike and Hike Granada team will meet you at either Malaga or Granada airport and transfer you to your designated hotel.

On the last day of the tour, the team will return you to the airport of your choice—Malaga or Granada.

Important: The entire group must choose one airport location for both pickup and drop-off, as we do notprovide transfers from multiple airports. We recommend morning arrivals, which allow us to pick up the whole group together and give you extra time on the first day to relax and enjoy sightseeing around the city.

From the village center, you’ll set out on a circular hike along the banks of the Guadelete reservoir, a serene and scenic route that immediately introduces you to the region’s natural beauty.

The first section of the walk is gentle and relaxed, meandering through flower-filled fields and along calm water edges, perfect for photography, birdwatching, and soaking in the reflections of the surrounding hills. The path gradually leads you into groves of olive and fruit trees, where the air is fragrant with blossoms and the terrain begins to rise.

As you ascend, the hike rewards you with panoramic views of the valley, stretching from the reservoir below to the rugged hills and mountains of the Sierra de Grazalema in the distance. The trail loops back toward Zahara, providing ample opportunities to pause at scenic viewpoints or simply enjoy the quiet of the Andalusian countryside. As you progress, you will enter the lush Gaidovar Valley, a rare microclimate where mild temperatures allow a unique variety of vegetation to flourish. After exploring the valley, descend toward the whitewashed village of Grazalema, dramatically set among jagged limestone peaks. Ronda retains much of its historic charm, despite being a popular destination, and is famously divided by the 200-meter-deep El Tajo Gorge, which plunges between the old and new parts of the town. The impressive 18th-century Puente Nuevo (“New” Bridge) spans the chasm, providing breathtaking views over the gorge and the surrounding countryside. Explore the Moorish quarter, with its narrow winding streets, whitewashed houses, and rich architectural heritage, and allow yourself to wander further to uncover hidden plazas, local shops, and charming cafés.
