Your Bike and Hike Granada guide will meet you at Plaza Mariana Pienda or your hotel at 8:00 AM on Day 1 of your trip. The journey will conclude on the final day at 18:00 PM, with drop-off options at the airport, bus terminal, Hotel or Plaza Mariana Pienda.

Trips with fewer than four guests may be led by a single guide who also serves as the driver, providing full support with a BHG van. If you prefer to have two guides, please consult your trip advisor, as this may involve an additional cost due to the minimum participant requirement not being met.

Our guide will meet you at the hotel in Granada at 8 am. From there, we will drive approximately 195 km to Zahara de la Sierra . Upon arrival, the guide will provide a comprehensive overview of the hiking itinerary for the next 4 days. After a brief refreshment, we will begin our sightseeing to explore the region.

Embraced by endless olive groves, your initial route today meanders through the serene countryside surrounding Zahara de la Sierra, occasionally passing solitary farmsteads.
As you progress a few kilometers onward, the trail diverges from the olive orchards, leading into a secluded and untamed valley. Watch attentively for deer, relish the cool shade of native woodlands, and breathe in the fragrance of vibrant wildflowers dotting the landscape. To the south, admire the expansive vistas toward Garganta Verde, aptly named for its striking canyon that evokes imagery of a verdant throat

Departing from Zahara de la Sierra, your journey leads you towards the shores of Embalse de Zahara before ascending into the hills of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. Traverse pine groves and ancient cobblestone paths until you reach the verdant Gaidovar valley, renowned for its rare microclimate fostered by moderate temperatures.
Descend into the picturesque white village of Grazalema, nestled amidst rugged limestone peaks. Take an evening stroll through one of the best-preserved stops on the “pueblos blancos route,” marveling at the whitewashed houses adorned with vibrant cascades of geraniums.
