TOUR- AT A GLANCE

Seize the extraordinary opportunity to explore the ancient route Bicycle ride with Miguel Ángel Sánchez Rubí, the notable figure who has retraced this million-year-old spiritual path. Join us in a captivating journey of storytelling and experience sharing, where Miguel will recount the history firsthand.

This ride traces a route along restored pilgrimage paths between Gaudix and Caravaca de la Cruz, accommodating travel by foot, bicycle, motorized vehicles, or horseback. The journey spans across the regions of Gaudix, Baza, and Huescar in the Altiplano, and the northwest region of Murcia.

The route is divided into 12 stages, covering 570 kilometers of forest trails, agricultural paths, and, occasionally, asphalt. It traverses a variety of marked trails, particularly within the Granada Geopark.

Along the way, you’ll encounter significant sites related to the origins of Christianity in Spain, the early development of human civilization, and the historical border between the Nasrid Kingdom and Christian territories. This pilgrimage will lead you to Caravaca de la Cruz, one of Christianity’s key pilgrimage destinations.

The journey also offers an immersive experience in the Granada Geopark, renowned for its geological and cultural treasures. Pilgrims will witness unique geological formations, rich fossil records, and traces of early human settlement. The park’s cultural heritage includes ancient cave dwellings, traditional farming practices, and historical sites that provide insight into the region’s early inhabitants. The fusion of natural beauty and historical depth in the Granada Geopark enriches the riding experience, offering a profound and memorable adventure.
