WHAT TO EXPECT

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive to the enchanting village of Nigüelas, nestled on the western slopes of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountain range. This quaint rural town serves as the starting point of our exhilarating cycle ride.

As we set off from Nigüelas, we embark on a journey through the picturesque Valle de Lecrín, a breathtaking valley renowned for its natural beauty and protected status. The valley boasts a diverse landscape of rolling hills, deep ravines, rugged cliffs, and serene rivers. Along the way, you’ll pedal past vibrant citrus and orange groves, flourishing almond trees, and expansive olive oil plantations, all contributing to the region’s agricultural charm.

The cycle trail winds through this idyllic setting, gradually leading us to a stunning panoramic viewpoint. From this vantage point, the glittering Mediterranean Sea comes into view, offering a glimpse of our ultimate destination: the historic town of Salobreña. Perched atop a towering rock, Salobreña is crowned with an ancient Moorish castle, creating a striking silhouette against the coastal horizon.

Upon arriving in Salobreña, you’ll have ample time to unwind and soak in the seaside atmosphere. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the beach, take a leisurely swim in the clear Mediterranean waters, or simply relax and admire the coastal scenery.

After a day filled with adventure and natural beauty, we’ll make our way back to Granada, bringing with us memories of an unforgettable journey from the peaks to the shores of this remarkable region.
