Bike and Hike

Granada

Miguel Ángel was born in Almeria and adopted in Granada. At eighteen, he left to train as a Forestry Engineer. Upon completing his studies, he returned to Almeria to work in his profession. During this time, he was inspired to undertake his first Camino de Santiago, following the French Way from Roncesvalles. This journey significantly influenced his life, eventually leading him back to Granada, where he became a Vocational Training teacher in the agricultural branch.

In Granada, Miguel discovered the Mozarabic Way as both a pilgrim and a “bicigrino” (a pilgrim on a bike). This experience inspired him to create a guidebook for this ancient path. Retracing the millennia-old Pilgrim route, known as the Southern Spiritual Path, Miguel authored and published a book about it.

Currently, Miguel teaches various forestry subjects, including hunting and GIS management. He also works in the hunting industry, scouting new venues for hunting activities. His deep knowledge of the Geo Park in Granada further enhances his expertise in the field.
