TOUR AT A GLANCE
Discover a hidden corner of Spain by bike with the expert guides of Camino Viejo Cazalla, in the heart of Sierra Morena—a wild, unspoiled region in northern Andalusia.
Your journey begins in El Pedroso, the gateway to the Sierra Morena Natural Park in Seville. From here, you’ll pedal through dramatic mountain landscapes, cross crystal-clear rivers, and follow ancient paths winding through forests of holm oak and cork oak. Open meadows burst with wildflowers, while abundant wildlife brings the scenery to life.
Ride into the charming white village of Cazalla de la Sierra, famous for its traditional aniseed liqueur, La Cazalla. The route continues to Constantina, where a medieval castle and Moorish quarter invite you to step back in time.
One of the tour’s true highlights awaits at Cerro del Hierro, a striking natural monument where centuries of mining have shaped a spectacular landscape—an unforgettable meeting of nature and human history. From there, cycle to San Nicolás del Puerto, a delightful village whose riverside beach offers a refreshing oasis during the Andalusian summer.
Following the scenic Sierra Norte Greenway, you’ll return to Cazalla de la Sierra, the cultural heart of the region. On the final day, the route heads south across classic dehesa landscapes to the remarkable Roman ruins of Munigua, once one of the most important iron-producing sites in Roman Baetica.
This tour is more than a cycling adventure—it’s an immersive journey into authentic Spanish rural life, rich in nature, history, and timeless traditions.
